how is everyone getting there: a group of us meeting at serandoon interchange number 103 there at 5.15pm. then we'll take a bus together and qian yi will wait at the bus stop that we have to alight cos i myself dont know how to go either.
what time will it end: get your parents to pick you up between 9.30-10pm. its a mid year gathering, so lets spend as long as we can together if you're not staying over.

Hi guys. Been a long time since the blog has been uploaded. Life in ACJC has been rather fun for myself, Vincent, Fang Cheng, Pan Meng, Zhou Yan and Zhang Zhe. Orientation was fun since we had the games and mass rally and all till like 6plus in the evening. Mud games, water games, starch and shaving cream, soap powder, hair shampoo bonded us to our OGs. SO it really aint that bad.

Unfortunately, mass lectures starts and personally, Math was hell. I couldnt understand what the fudgecake the indian lecturer was talking about curves and graphs. All about hyperbolas, parabolas, ellipses and what not. Oh and circles, in which I could understand since Poh Poh did a fairly great job teaching us. So I'm really missing the small class that we had for Math and constantly asking questions and Mr Poh having to come individually having to attend to those like me who doesnt know how to do half the questions from the textbook.

Anyway, I wont be rattling here about how fun/unfun or how poor I've become in ACJC since we really have to pay for alot fo stuff. Just to do a quick update.

To make things easier, i thought of having some reps from the different JCs so that they'll be in charge to tell those from 4e1 in their JC about upcoming gatherings etc etc. So...

Aloha. I'm here to say just a few words so yea it wont be so draggy.

Firstly, I wanna thank one and all for coming for the chalet and the BBQ. It wouldnt have been successful without you guys who makeup this wonderful class of 4e1o8. I dont know if you feel this way, but for me, this class really seems more united then the rest of the sec 4 2008 classes. Hahas. So I do hope that we do keep in contact when we enter whichever JC/ POLY. Oh and also thanks to those who helped out to pack/ cook/ make water bombs/ bring mahjong/ buy stuff etc etc etc. You guys know who you are ya? Hahas.

Secondly, I wanna thank Mr Poh for sponsoring us this chalet. On this note, I would also like to mention that the 300dollars that was initially planned to donate has been used for this purpose of chalet plus BBQ, and Mr Poh topped up the remainder which equates to more than a hundred dollars. Thanks Mr Poh not only for the chalet, but for the guidance and care that you've given us throughout these 2 important years of our upper sec lives.

Thirdly and finally, I would like to thank 4 very important people who made this BBQ/ gathering/ chalet possible. Kudos to the "contact people" - Stella, Beatrice and Travis, as they did a great job in contacting most of our classmates within such a short time to inform you guys of this chalet/BBQ. And also would like to thank Vincent for being the great Treasurer that he's been doing for the pass 2 years.

Okay. I realised that I've been delaying the poll that I intended to put up with regards to which charitable organisation to donate too. After searching using the internet, there are soooooooo many charitable organisations out there! So to narrow down the search, we have a few options available. We could donate to

--> The young orphans (orphanage)
--> The abondoned/ sick elderlies (elderly home)
--> People with disabilities (Physical eg handicap)
--> People with disabilities (Intellectual )
--> Non humans eg pets

I need ideas ideas ideas. For now, lets stick to these 5 options. So start polling! Polling closes in a week.

P.S Keep in mind that 300 dollars may be "peanuts" to some richer charitable organisation. So we really want to try our best and find one that would benefit most from it.

Ni Hao. Making a quick update once again. Please be reminded that I require just 10 minutes of your time after BIO SSP this coming wednesday. Whether you are going for the class lunch or not, it concerns the whole class. And the agenda includes the class lunch and the $300.

Few details. Lunch will start at 1130am. So just take a light breakfast that can last you through our last exam paper in Zhonghua. AFter that, once we are released and officially rewarded with 2 months of freedom, you are free to do anything, go anywhere. Just report to Marina Square Seoul Garden on Level 2 by 1120am. Its a buffet cum cook on your own kindda thing, like the ones at marina bay last time.

I just gave them a call. Increased the number of people to 32. I also asked the lady on the line how the seating arrangement is like. So theres like 4 people to one hot plate. And according to her, we will be seating in 2 rows. 2 rows of 16. So i guess we can start to organise ourselves on who seat where? Just amke sure that nobody is being left out. Okay?

So congratulations 4e1. The planning of our first and probably last class lunch is going to be a success, of course only if you guys turn up. Surprised but happy to say that this is by far the biggest number of people that ever attended such an event (and this does not count chalet or BBQ, just events and outings) in our class. Hope it would be the same if we are going to have another class chalet of BBQ.

Hello all =) been a long time since i blogged so here, i ought to do my duty for the last few times. 4 main things on hand today. Taking this opportunity to say these stuff cos i doubt that we would ever get a chance to.

First, the answer key. Ms ong pass me two sets of papers without answer keys cos the lady forget to print. SO i've uploaded it and you may download it from here. XMS and SCGS.

Next, its a friendly reminder that there is extra bio lessons next wednesday after our chemistry mcq.Yes i know its kind of sad cos the whole school will be celebrating the end of o's and they'll be like mocking us for staying back for extra lessons and timed prac. But i guess our class is attuned to it already. So yea, bio wednesday timed pract plus those mcqs such as anderson and bpghs that we have not went through. remember.

Third, remember last year we raise like $300 for the painting of the shutters? and it didnt succeed cos somehow the council didnt much look into it and the art club i dont know. anyways, the $300 is still seating in my bank. I dont want to be accused of embezzling funds and i cant return to you guys too cos you guys would probably have forgotten how much the sun is. I would try, however, to do so.SO i need u guys to stay back next wednesday after bio. In the meantime, I'll be passing around this list and you write down how much you've paid. If the sum doesnt tally to what i have, i cant return you guys.So here are a few options. We coudl spend it on a chalet / bbq. We could donate to organisations like the school needy fund or SPCA or ACRES or something of that sort. And theres lots more otehr ways. Its a big sum of money, especially to the poor. SO i need you guys to think thoroughly through what to do with it in case the money dont tally. Then we'll discuss on wednesday. I just need 10 minutes, please, just 10 minutes.

Lastly, we will be celerating our very last lunch with the class. SO i do hope that you guys can make it for this. I know that especially the scholars, you guys have to pack your bags and stuff and are so excited to leave for your home sweet home. Nevertheless, we guys here will miss you and we would like to spend the last lunch with you guys as a class, together. SO here's the plan.

We will end the paper by 9am. We would scream, shout, cheer, set the school on fire (just kidding), throw the chairs, burn the books, slap ourselve to see if we;ve woken up from this mugging nightmare. That would take at the most half an hour. So 930 we end, we get out of school. I thought that we can go for a nice meal at Seoul Garden.At least thats my plan, for now. Remember though, that people with better quality of life have higher standard of living. Thus, we have to pay more since we have more economic power. Acoording to the web, its $11.99.I called, to check, and that guy, if hes a reliable source that is, claimed that after the GST and service tax and those stupid ++++++ should be $14.10. But thats because its student price. So please please bring your ic or ex link, which you would, unless you are not taking the o level paper on that day cos we are required to do so.

SOunds expensive? Kindda. But look at it on the bright side. Its time we enjoy ourselves, reward ourselves for having endure this constant mugging all these weeks. And its our very alst meal. Together. As a class. For once. SO yea, well its not compulsory. But i plead that everyone of you all turn up.

Hello! Okay, so sorry that I logged in so late. Was over at someone's place. Anyways, this is my definition for night, 12midnight. Hahas. So firstly, 1 more day to our BBQ!!! Its a class event so reminder again, WEAR YOUR CLASS TEE PLEASE! Also, do bring extra clothes in case you get wet or something. Bring your umbrella, water bottle because I think everyone needs water besides the soft drinks as well as cash. Things there at ECP can be really pricey and if you rent your bikes from the wrong shop, it'll probably cost you a bomb for an hour. The last time i went there, its 6 bucks an hour. I think theres cheaper ones though.

So those were the things to bring. Now, the things to do there. You may cycle there, or just walk on the beach. If you want company, there is a group ( lets just call them the 9oclock group ) meeting at the school backgate busstop where 58, 45, 133 and 135 is available.Direction is towards the MRT station, not the school. The 9oclock group will be there and board the first bus that comes after 9oclock. So dont be late. The 3pm group is cancelled so you may want to join the 9oclock group to cycle. We intend to cycle as far as we can till out butts rot, and hoprefully to where the changi airport takeoff there is.The rest of you, I suppose you're either coming with a group of friends or alone by public transport, cab or parents.

For the non public transport, its pit E-52. Ask the driver to alight you at carpark E ( landmark being the East Coast Food Centre ) and its just 4 pits away. Pretty near. Okay, my turn to blog. dont think i will talk about the cake thing cos i think theres so much about it already. to just make a quick announcement.

1. Lets all look forward to our class bbq which is in 17 days time! by then, please please please have fun on the beach and forget about books for once. hahas.

chapter 1 of the adventures of the 4e1 fantastic 7~

Once upon a time, there were 7 classmates who suddenly became very interested in baking cakes, and these 7 comprised of Samuel, Cheeyew, Beatrice, Stella, Lijun, Vincent, and Travis.
Actually they were all influenced by Vincent since he ever since he brought heaven-licious cheese cakes to school!
So on Wednesday, the 7 ppl trained to Vincent's house to bake as seen in the previous post!

this pic is regarding the newspaper collection. well, we collected that high of newspapers. of course, we did some digging like the second pic showing andrew inside the newspaper dump. but the amount that we collected is still 2metres plus cos both stacks are 3m plus and we minused 1.15m of newspaers that we took from the rubbish dump. yea.

hey people!!! tmr's log and expo a maths paper. so i wish u guys all the best in doing the test. as what the last blog posted, do not stress urself up with the test, exams and SYFs.. i realised this class gets paranoid easily... haha.. anywae, just here to congratulate the band for getting a silver.. myself and yan yu have put in lots of effort and time in this competition and if u would ask me why we didnt get gold, i wouldnt noe how to answer.. haha. nevertheless, lets all encourage the other performing grps in their SYFs.. lasly, i would like to say thank you for those who have voted me as student of the term.. when i saw the votes earlier in the evning, i was really touched that the class really is united and that i have done my duty. thanks people. =))
